Meet Viola

Meet Viola
Viola is a pre-med student at Cornell University with a 4.0 GPA studying Chemistry and Hispanic Studies. She is actively involved in research and has worked in a pulmonary disease lab at the UNC School of Medicine for the past three years. In her free time, she volunteers as a Spanish interpreter at a medical clinic and recently took on a new research role with the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
In high school, Viola had a 35 ACT and 3.9 GPA. She took many AP courses including AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Spanish Literature, and AP Japanese. She was involved in organizations both within CHHS and beyond, and she ran cross country all four years.
Viola hopes to pass on her knowledge and help students strategically build the strongest profile possible for admission to their dream universities. She believes that if she had access to an organization like Viora Prep, her own college application journey would have been far less difficult. She welcomes students interested in pre-health, research, and linguistics pathways to reach out to her. She also encourages students who are struggling in their courses or hoping to get ahead academically to connect with her. Having completed these courses herself relatively recently, she understands the challenges students face and is confident she can help them succeed.
Fun fact: Viola has played piano for 14 years. She also enjoys painting and photography.
